Computer Classes

Computer literacy is taught across all grade levels at Calvary Academy. Computer skills are taught utilizing the Google Suite Platform. The curriculum expands on skills acquired and introduces new skills at age-appropriate grade levels. Computer skills are also integrated with other subject areas such as History or English/Language Arts. Students are introduced to keyboarding skills in fourth grade. The curriculum is interactive and challenges students in the development of their typing skills.

One to One Technology

Calvary Academy is a one-to-one technology school. Every student has access to technology in their classrooms. Students are equipped with iPads or Chromebooks, depending on grade level, to increase student engagement.  All classrooms have Mimio Interactive Whiteboards. Apple TVs were integrated in many classrooms during the 2023-2024 school year. This addition allows more interactive lessons and mobility for teachers during instruction.  Students can screen share their work on the TV, enhancing classroom engagement. Teachers can clearly display content to the students’ devices as well as the TV.
