Reading Intervention Program ​

Calvary’s Reading Intervention Program supports students who struggle with reading and writing by providing additional targeted instruction in a small group setting. The program is a supplemental program in addition to the student’s classroom reading block. Students work on strengthening specific foundational skills (phoneme awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension) designed for their individual needs. The goal of the reading intervention program is to accelerate growth by providing fun, interesting, and effective reading experiences which will set them up for more success in terms of their literacy development.
